Large Vintage Stoneware Butter Crock

This stunning very large salt glazed butter crock is really something special and still has the original stoneware lid.  Stunning impressed ring and fitted with two handles.  The lid is also heavily embossed and was made by Campbellfield of Glasgow.  The jar is in fabulous condition and is ready to be used.  They make perfect pots to hold utensils, or as a planter for herbs or plants, or spectacular with blowsy flowers or dried seed heads.  They look amazing grouped too.

Condition:  Overall superb vintage condition with a small chip the the base please see all images.

These pots are rustic and no two were ever the same with unique glaze differences and makers marks, lumps and bumps, making them idea for farmhouse, rustic kitchen styles/shabby chic.
