Vintage Majolica Caldas da Rainha Parrot box

A very handsome vintage majolica parrot on nest plate by Caldsa da Rainha.

In superb condition with no damage to the surface, high gloss majolica parrot sat on a nest.  The bird lifts of the nest to revile a nice trinket box.  These highly decorative Portuguese majolica pieces are extremely collectable.  Stamped to the base.  There is a small chip on the tail and a small chip on the nest which can be clearly seen in the images and has been taken into account in the pricing.

In very good vintage condition with only the marks mentioned above.
